Bule Hora University Hosts "Project Kick-off and Stakeholder Engagement Workshop: Addressing Adolescent Nutritional Health in Educational Migration"
The workshop is organized by the Directorate of Research, International Relations and Partnership with collaboration of the University of Edinburgh and Canterbury Christ church University (UK).
At the opening of the project workshop, President of Bule Hora University Dr. Birhanu Lemma, provides a warm welcome and thanks to the delegates Dr. Elfineh Udessa from Canterbury Christ church University, Dr.Andrew James Williams and Dr. Divya Ramakrishnan is from the University of Edinburgh.
Dr. Birhanu explained, the importance of collaboration and partnership for young and emerging universities especially with international institutions. He also appreciates the commitment of the project to work with Bule Hora University and wishes fruitful discussion.
On the other hand, Dr. Elfineh Udessa who plays Lion share in this partnership, highlights the background history of Bule Hora University, its challenges and presents critical targets of the 'Kick Off Project' like Academic and Research Partnership, technology transfer and information partnership, capacity building and professional development, funding and resources mobilization and advocacy and networking.
Dr. Andrew James and Dr Divya appreciate the hospitality of Bule Hora University and highlight the major areas of 'Kick off project'
Stakeholders including, Top and Middle management bodies of Bule Hora University, College Dean's, Community wings, voiced strong support, acknowledging that the project and the critical challenges of nutritional health in education.
