Bule Hora University has supported the community members affected by the drought.
The support is for the community that lives in the areas affected by drought, and the food of cattle and food that is used for animal food.
The university has supported a severe drought in western Guji zone Dugda Dawa district and Guji zone Seba Boru districts.
The tax force that was established by the university has given the livestock and food support for the communities affected by the drought to the community in Kolama woreda.

Ethiopian Knowledge Technology Transfer Society has donated books to Bule Hora University.
The Dean of Bule Hora University Health Institute has been given 300 books that will help students of health and medical sciences (like medical radiology technology) in Bule Hora university health institute.
Teacher Takele Utura has mentioned that the support given by money is estimated to be 484,816.80 (four hundred eighty four thousand eight hundred sixteen 80 cents).

የቡሌ ሆራ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በቡሌ ሆራ ከተማ ለሚገኙ የጽዳት እና የምግብ ዝግጅት ባለሙያዎች በተላላፊ በሽታዎች መከላከል ዙሪያ ስልጠና ሰጠ
የዩኒቨርሲቲው ማህበረሰብ አገልግሎት ዳይሬክቶሬት ከዩኒቨርሲቲው የጤና ኢኒስቲትዩት ጋጋር በመተባበር ባዘዘጋጀው ስልጠና ላይ ከ60 በላይ የሚሆኑ ሰልጣኞች ተሳትፈዋል።
ሰልጣኞቹ በጤና ተቋማት የሚሰሩ የጽዳት እና የምግብ ዝግጅት ባለሙያዎች ሲሆኑ፤ ተላላፊ በሽታዎችን ለመከላከል በሚያስችሉ ርእሰ ጉዳዮች ዙሪያ በጤና ባለሙያዎች ስልጠናው ተሰጥቷቸል።
በቡሌ ሆራ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የጤና ኢኒስቲትዩት፣ የምርምርና ማሕበረሰብ አገልግሎት እና ቴክኖሎጅ ሽግግር ዳይሬክተር መ/ር ፍጹም ደምሴ እንደገለፁት 'ስልጠናው የጽዳትና የምግብ ዝግጅት ባለሙያዎችን እንዲሁም ተገልጋዮችን ለተላላፊ በሽታዎች ተጋላጭ እንዳይሆኑ ለማድረግ የታሰበ ነዉ'።
